Bedford High School Shooting Clinic Saturday, 5/21!!
Bedford High School Head Coach Matt Guerard and players from the Varsity Boy’s Lacrosse team will be at Joppa Hill Field to conduct an hour long Shooting Clinic starting at 11:00 AM. This clinic will concentrate on attack and midfield dodging and shooting skills.
This event is open to all U11 and U15 players. No sign up is necessary.

I found a pink girls lacrosse stick bag on the McAfee practice field on Tuesday night (5/3).
My team has not claimed it. Let me know if it belongs to anyone on your teams and I can make arrangements to return it.

Action Photos Available
The Bedford Cannons have partnered with Beach Sports Photo’s this season to provide you with action game pictures of your favorite Cannons player. Dave Beach, proprietor and BYLA member, has been shooting sports professionally for the past 4 years. Dave shoots for the Neighborhood News (Bedford Journal, Hooksett Banner, Goffstown News, and Salem Observer) and the Cabinet Press (Bedford Journal, Merrimack Journal, Hollis-Brookline Journal), as well as the Nashua Telegraph.
Dave will be out shooting pictures throughout the Spring Lacrosse season and will post the pictures at www.beachsportsphotos.smugmug.com for purchase. In fact, there are great shots from this weekend’s rec and travel games already posted on the site. Prints will be produced by Bay Photo, a professional photo lab, and will be sent directly to your home. You can also choose from a number of gift items such cards, t-shirts, key chains, mouse pads, etc. to have your favorite picture printed on. Twenty-five (25%) of all proceeds will be donated to the Bedford Youth Lacrosse Association.

REC Lacrosse pictures on Saturday, April 16th
Rec Lacrosse picture will be next Saturday, April 16th, around game times. You should have received order envelopes for pictures this past Saturday.
You can also order online using their secure website and PayPal to process your order. Go to
WWW.NEATPHOTOSNE.COM and click on the “PREPAY” tab. Select the button for Bedford Rec Lacrosse and you will be able to view all of the offerings and then pay using a PayPal account or a credit card. Anyone who does not wish to use the online ordering system can fill out the envelope and send it with their player. All players pictures will be taken however parents should plan on getting their orders in in a timely fashion, no later than next weekend, the 16th of April. Here is the picture schedule by team:

2011 Picture Schedule
We are trying something new this year. Our Photography partner, NEAT Photos, would like to do all picture ordering online using their secure website and PayPal to process all orders. Go to their website WWW.NEATPHOTOSNE.COM and click on the “PREPAY” tab. Select the button for Bedford Cannons Travel Lacrosse and you will be able to view all of the offerings and then pay using a PayPal account or a credit card. Spots still open for Boys and Girls on 2011 Spring Rec teams!
Bedford Youth Lacrosse still has openings in both its Boys and Girls Recreation Leagues for the Spring 2011 season. The Rec League is designed to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse to younger players through instructional practice and non-competitive games. Practices are one night a week with games held at Joppa Hill Field on Saturday mornings.
Registration is open to children who will be between the ages of 7 and 10 as of June 30. Cost is $150/player with a max cost per family of $300. Additional registration information can be found at the registration link on www.bedfordcannons.com.
